Art
I have always loved making art, and it’s different from design. It’s less scientific and more just me being me. I love painitng, ceramics, fiber arts, print making. My goal is to get back in the mode of creating art again. I recently got a gift of a membership to a local ceramic studio, so the goal is within reach.

This is branding as art. When my mom passed in 2016 at the Mayo Clinic in Florida, the words “lost at sea” came to mind. All she ever wanted was to live near the ocean again and live her beach lifestyle. She was born in the ’60s and died at 52.
I thought, how cool would it be to refurbish a 1960s-style gas station into a retail boutique in her memory, filled with her favorite beachy things—seashell wind chimes, sea-salty smells, and all the things that reminded me of her.
